Caring for your furniture
- 1 Furniture by Salcedo These are contemporary pieces of furniture that combine design with high-quality finishes.
- 2 They are made from particle board coated with a decorative film impregnated with melamine resins. This gives them a completely sealed, non-porous, hard, waterproof surface that is resistant to both heat and wear and tear.
- 3 The base material of the piece of furniture is the result of the recycling of wood waste in other manufacturing processes (sawing, sanding, etc.). It is a very environmentally friendly product.
- 4 Our furniture is designed for indoor use, where it withstands humidity and temperature changes well; it is ideal for everyday use.
- 5 All we need for its maintenance is a a soft cloth dampened with soapy water or some kind of disinfectant or alcohol. Once we have wiped the surface with a damp cloth, we will need to wipe it again with a soft, absorbent dry cloth to remove any water marks.
- 6 For bright colours, we recommend that the disinfectant It should not be particularly harsh and should not contain solvents, as these could remove the shine; we recommend wiping them down every so often with a dry cloth, such as a microfibre cloth or a soft, smooth fabric, to keep the resins looking as good as new.
- 7 It is alcohol-based glass cleaners or degreasing products (e.g. hand-washing dishwashing liquid) that deliver excellent results, they do not scratch or cause the furniture to lose its shine or colour.
- 8 Steam cleaners must not be used.
- 9 Avoid spill water onto furniture surfaces, as this can damage the worktop and cause it to swell, as well as damaging the surface. (Be careful with flower pots and vases.).
