Commitment to the environment, people and the future
At Salcedo, we have always been committed to the environment and to the wider community. That commitment is an integral part of the way we work, the decisions we make and our understanding of the company.
Our commitment has always focused on two main areas: respect for the environment and working together with the wider community.
From commitment to responsible management
We recognise that this is not enough; rather, we must translate that commitment into specific actions and incorporate it into the company’s strategy, making it a key management priority.
Driven by this sentiment, in 2017 we joined the Government of Navarre’s InnovaRSE programme, a Corporate Social Responsibility plan comprising four phases:

We have now successfully completed the third phase, “Sustainability Report”, and have been certified by the Government of Navarre, having been awarded the relevant certification mark. This programme is based on three areas — social, environmental and economic — and incorporates specific actions from the plan into the company’s management.
Our commitment continues
We are committed to continuing our work in this area so that our management becomes increasingly socially responsible, whilst respecting the three main areas of the plan: economic, social and environmental.
Economic section
We have incorporated Social Accounting into our financial management, based on the monetisation of the social value generated, using the model developed by the University of Deusto and GEAccounting.
Social area
We maintain an active relationship with our local community, working in partnership with associations, local organisations and sporting, social and cultural activities.
Environmental Department
We continue to move towards more sustainable processes, products and suppliers, with a lower environmental impact and greater efficiency.
