A furniture manufacturer since 1924, SALCEDO has been adapting to changes in the Spanish market ever since, and to European markets since 2013. The company, based in Viana (Navarre), manufactures its furniture in a 30,000 m² production facility. SALCEDO will be exhibiting at the 10th edition of the ESPRITMEUBLE trade fair, which will take place from 19 to 22 November 2022. Interview with José Maria Martinez González, Managing Director of SALCEDO.
What was the most significant recent development at your company?
Now that the health situation has stabilised, we could give three examples:
1. The creation of a new, more up-to-date and attractive website featuring a free configurator where customers can design their own combinations from our catalogues.
2. The launch in June of a living/dining range aimed at the French and Belgian markets, which is much better suited to the type of product in demand in those markets.
3. A planned investment of €1,500,000 in technology in 2022 to make us more flexible and competitive.
What does ESPRITMEUBLE mean to you?
For us, it is the leading trade fair on the French market. It is the event that has helped us to break into this market and raise our profile, showcase our products and establish a meaningful presence in the market.
What made you want to come back for the 10th edition?
Now that this unfortunate situation we have had to endure – one which has had such a profound impact on our lives – is behind us, it is time to resume our pre-pandemic activities. For us, ESPRITMEUBLE remains the leading trade fair in France, which is our second-largest market. We therefore recognise that our presence at the show is essential for communication; we remain committed to our customers and are delighted to be expanding our presence with new customers and products. It will be an opportunity to look forward to reconnecting with customers, suppliers, sales representatives and other members of our sector.
